You can only consider a product the best if you yourself have roadtested it and swear by its results. Here are just some of my picks when it comes to facial moisturizers and sprays, sunscreens, body mists and lotions.

Olay Regenerist Cream

If you’re happy with the results you got from Olay Total Effects, then try the Olay Regenerist line, which I’ve recently come across while shopping at PX stores (plenty of them at the mezzanine level) at the newly renovated Cash & Carry Makati. The texture is creamy yet when you apply it disappears into the skin and never feels heavy.I’m so lucky to be so hiyang to Olay and have been using the Regenerist Cream with SPF 15 for three months now alternating this with Total Effects with a Touch of Foundation.

Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer

A friend introduced me to this brand couple of years ago and up to now LM has become a mainstay of my kikay it, specially this tinted moisturizer, which has SPF 20 and looks oh so natural on my skin. I rarely use foundation so this tinted moisturizer (I use Sand) has become a mainstay on my list.

Armada Sport 70

I started out using the Face Cover 30 but later switched to Armada Sport 70 because of its sheer lightness. I apply it on my neck area and my arms and when I go out in the sun even at high noon, I need not worry. In times when I play outdoor tennis, this is my real ally. When the sun gets too hot, I use Evian Facial Spray to cool off and re apply.

Mr. Coconut Dry Oil Mist

Not a fan of body mists but became a convert when I tried this product because, again, it is so light on my skin. Its non-greasy formulation makes it ideal even in humid weather and it can also be applied on your scalp and hair. I apply this on my hair at night and the following day I don’t need to use hair conditioner. It is made of extra virgin coco oil is very budget friendly at P140. They have a stall in Glorietta Activity Center 2nd level .

Aveeno Moisturizing Lotion.

Love anything from Aveeno. I have dry skin and this rich fast-absorbing body lotion is perfect for me. I apply this at night but for sunscreen protection I alternate with Vaseline Healthy White Lotion with SPF 15. I have no problems with the greasy feel because after a few seconds, I can hardly feel it.

Nivea Sun 50 Chilren’s Pocket Size

If you have sensitive skin like I do, consider using stuff that are formulated for babies and you will never go wrong. When I go swimming this pocket size sunscreen is so handy it fits even in my small bag.
