Treadmill blues: To purchase or not?
On rainy days, I do wish I have a treadmill at home so I could get my daily 20-minute cardio high. Fitness First is but 15 minutes away from my home but the street where I live gets flooded easily. You can only consider a product the best if you yourself have roadtested it and swear by its results. Here are just some of my picks when it comes to facial moisturizers and sprays, sunscreens, body mists and lotions. [caption id="attachment_29" align="aligncenter" width="550" caption="Photo of Beauty Products"][/caption] Olay Regenerist Cream If you’re happy with the results you got from Olay Total Effects, then try the Olay Regenerist line, which I’ve recently come across while shopping at PX stores (plenty of them at the mezzanine level) at the newly renovated Cash & Carry Makati. The texture is creamy yet when you apply it disappears ...
Refirme: Non-invasive skin tightening
It's Facial Care Center's (FCC) 27th anniversary this month and they offering 50 percent off on all treatments so this is the best time to get that Refirme package as they seldom offer this at discounted price. Refirme was introduced by FCC in 2007 and up to now, it has received good reviews. Renew, on the other hand, is FCC's newest treatment for scar removal, pronounced lines and enlarged pores. Unlike its predecessor, Fraxel, which clients say are painful, Renew is as painless as Refirme. True, having a laptop or a notebook for works beats having to keep notes the old-fashioned way. No more worry over losing this or that piece of paper, or having to re-encode things into the PC later. But even laptops have their limitations when it comes to convenience. When you’re constantly on the go, lugging a small netbook around can still... [Read more of this review]
I’m an avid Canon user. I realized until a few months ago that all my cameras have been mostly Canon. When my Sony Cybershot began to conk out and spend more time at the repair shop, I bought a Canon Ixus 110.The latest iteration of this wonderful camera is the Ixus 200. The Ixus 200 shares the same features as its predecessor –an impressive... [Read more of this review]
In the movie Minority Report, Tom Cruise uses multi-touch technology to shuffle through video clips of psychic premonitions on a large screen computer interface. That scenario was set in 2054, a good forty years into the future. But the with recent launch of the iPad, the movie just might become a reality in the not so distant future, say, 10 years... We all know how expensive gadgets are and apart from thinking about the features they offer, well, that depends on what you’re after — sound-wise, cam, design — we also tend to look for durability. Nothing wrong with getting your money’s worth. Think about it, these gadgets are jammed inside our bags, they get jostled as we lug... [Read more of this review]
